Wrap your hair in plastic so the paste stays pressed against the greys, then leave on for 30 minutes. The warmer it is, the better the color develops.

Rinse

Rinse

Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water until the water runs clear. Shampoo is optional. The color keeps deepening over the first 24 hours, so avoid harsh shampoo on the same day.

Frequently asked questions

Powder henna has to be ground and left to develop for a long time. Water Henna mixes from oil and essence into a ready-to-apply cream in just 60 seconds — no dust, and a 30-minute dye matches what takes two hours with powder henna.

Chemical dyes rely on PPD, ammonia and oxidizers. Water Henna colors with 100% natural plant pigment — no harsh chemistry, a clinical irritation score of 0.0, and hair that grows healthier with use.

Henna dyes grey hair orange, indigo dyes it blue, and brown gives a soft, water-toned brown. Apply henna for 30 minutes, then indigo for another 30 minutes, to reach the blue-black tone natural to Korean hair.

Water Henna passed clinical irritation testing with a score of 0.0. It contains no PPD, no ammonia and no synthetic pigments, so it stays gentle on sensitive scalps.

Under MFDS cosmetic safety testing, lead, arsenic and cadmium were not detected, and nickel measured lower than in green tea or coffee — well within safety standards. There is also no PPD, ammonia or synthetic dye.

Water Henna dyes about 4× faster than powder henna — 30 minutes delivers a result equivalent to two hours with powder henna.

It is essentially semi-permanent. A single application fades gently and naturally over time, so you never get the harsh root line that chemical dye leaves.

You can shampoo as soon as dyeing is done — just rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

We recommend waiting about ten days, once the perm chemicals have settled.

Yes. Since bleaching leaves hair fragile, we recommend waiting 1–2 weeks until the scalp and hair settle. The natural pigment takes gently even on bleached hair.

It carries a mild, grassy botanical scent from the plant ingredients. After rinsing, almost no scent remains.

Water Henna is made from natural ingredients with no PPD, ammonia or synthetic dye, so it is gentler than typical chemical dyes. Even so, during pregnancy or breastfeeding we recommend consulting your doctor before using any product.
